Celebrating World Water Day at Zamorano

Students from the Environmental Engineering and Development (IAD) program at Zamorano held several events to celebrate World Water Day.

The university community enjoyed a water fair, which featured an informative stand, educational games focused on water conservation, and a food sale for all attendees. The goal of this event was to raise awareness about the importance of water as a resource and to encourage responsible habits among students.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Associated Dean’s Office (DAE), reusable water bottles were distributed to students as part of an initiative to reduce single-use plastic bottles on campus. These bottles were donated by DISAGRO, a company dedicated to environmental sustainability.

The World Water Day celebration at Zamorano highlights the university’s commitment to environmental education and promoting sustainable practices within its community.
