Zamorano University has taken a major step forward in its mission to promote higher education and sustainable development in Latin America with the official launch of its new graduate programs. The announcement was made during a dynamic academic forum titled \u201cAgriculture in Latin America: Looking Ahead,\u201d led by Dr. Arie Sanders, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The event opened with remarks from Interim President Dr. Keith Andrews, who emphasized the critical role of advanced education in addressing today\u2019s challenges in the agri-food sector across the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

During the event, three new master\u2019s programs were introduced:<\/p>

\u00b7 Master\u2019s in Project Management, developed in collaboration with EAFIT University in Medell\u00edn, Colombia. Elkin G\u00f3mez, Program Coordinator at EAFIT, presented the program and highlighted its practical and strategic approach.<\/p>

\u00b7 Master\u2019s in Precision Agriculture, also in partnership with EAFIT. Jos\u00e9 Adri\u00e1n Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez, Program Coordinator at Zamorano, showcased the program\u2019s focus on integrating cutting-edge technology into agricultural practices.<\/p>

\u00b7 Master\u2019s in Nutrition and Community Development, presented by Adriana Hern\u00e1ndez, Program Coordinator at Zamorano, who underscored the program\u2019s goal of driving positive social and regional impact.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The event concluded with a panel discussion on the role of graduate education in strengthening Latin America\u2019s agricultural sector. Moderated by Dr. Anael Espinal, Associate Dean of Academic Quality and Management, the conversation featured insights from Dr. Arie Sanders and Dr. Elkin G\u00f3mez. The dialogue explored how these programs contribute to innovation, sustainability, and the transformation of regional food systems.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
