On November 14, 2025, Zamorano University held a new edition of Zamorano Investiga, an academic event that brings together students, faculty, and advisors to showcase the results of their scientific, applied, and extension research projects.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Zamorano Investiga is a key space to promote a culture of research and strengthen the analytical and technical skills of students, in alignment with the university\u2019s Learning-by-Doing model.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The event featured Mateo Emilio Yibrin, chief transformation officer at Grupo Cadelga; Dorian Salinas, chairperson commissioner of the Honduran Health Regulatory Agency (ARSA); and Claudia Castro, deputy secretary of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), who shared their experiences integrating scientific evidence into decision-making. They also shared their perspectives on the potential to articulate agribusiness, government, and cooperation with academia to accelerate innovation through scientific research.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Throughout the day, more than 50 projects were presented across several categories: oral presentations, scientific posters and academic infographics. The research addressed topics related to sustainable agricultural production, innovation in food agroindustry, environmental management, biotechnology, rural development, and agribusiness, reflecting the diversity of approaches that characterize Zamorano\u2019s academic training.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
