Zamorano University earned first place in the 2025 LABSAG International Challenge, standing out in the SIMPRO \u2013 Production Management simulator, one of the five academic simulators featured in the competition organized by Michelsen Consulting.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The LABSAG Challenge took place from November 3 to 12, 2025, bringing together universities from across the region to compete in simulation environments designed to evaluate strategic, managerial, and operational skills. Within the SIMPRO simulator, teams must efficiently manage a production plant and meet high-performance benchmarks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Zamorano\u2019s team was represented by Dany Wilfredo Aj\u00fa Ajzalan and Camila Sol\u00f3rzano Castillo, students of Food Processing Engineering, and guided by Ing. Anael Espinal. Their outstanding performance secured first place among all participating institutions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
