During November, Guatemala and Honduras hosted the AgroHub 2025 Seminars, a series of strategic events that brought together key stakeholders from the agri-food innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. The objective was to strengthen the connection between ideas, capabilities, and opportunities that accelerate sustainable solutions for the sector across the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The first seminar took place on November 4 in Guatemala, where representatives from the productive sector, entrepreneurs, academia, and strategic partners participated in a dialogue space aimed at boosting agri-food innovation from a regional perspective. The event opened with welcoming remarks by Mois\u00e9s M\u00e9rida, representative of AGEXPORT, who highlighted the importance of regional collaboration to strengthen competitiveness and sustainability in Central America\u2019s agri-food sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In Guatemala, the seminar featured the participation of Sergio Pollak, Victoria Cort\u00e9s, Sim\u00f3n Echeverry, Luis Villegas, and Gabriela P\u00e9rez, who addressed key topics such as collaborative innovation, corporate sustainability, business models and financing, rural entrepreneurship, and agri-food ecosystem success stories. Their contributions provided practical and strategic insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The second seminar was held on November 7 in Tegucigalpa, consolidating AgroHub as a strategic platform to connect key actors and strengthen the capabilities shaping the future of Honduras\u2019 agri-food sector. The event opened with remarks by Anabel Gallardo, President of COHEP, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between the private sector, academia, and entrepreneurs as a cornerstone for advancing agro-environmental transformation in the country.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In Honduras, the seminar brought together Miguel Zavala, Victoria Cort\u00e9s, Sim\u00f3n Echeverry, Boris Le\u00f3n (Liontari), and Rafael Valverde, who shared insights and experiences on innovation and emerging food market trends, corporate sustainability, AgriFoodTech business models and financing, Agriculture 4.0, digital agriculture, and sustainable productivity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Both seminars were developed around the pillars of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, fostering spaces for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and best practices aimed at strengthening a more competitive, resilient, and future-ready agri-food ecosystem.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

These spaces helped\n\nstrengthen connections and promote strategic alliances among entrepreneurs, companies, academia, and partners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The progress achieved through the AgroHub 2025 Seminars has been made possible thanks to the growing network of actors who have joined AgroHub throughout the year, activating collaborations that support innovation, sustainability, and the creation of new opportunities for producers and entrepreneurs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
