Zamorano University and UN Women signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a framework for collaboration on the development of joint projects focused on women\u2019s economic empowerment and the strengthening of women\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Through this agreement, both institutions will collaborate on initiatives related to education, research, and innovation in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector, with the aim of promoting gender equality in these strategic areas for sustainable development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Memorandum also creates a framework for continued cooperation to advance actions aimed at preventing violence against women and girls, with a particular focus on rural contexts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Representing Zamorano University at the signing were Dr. Ana Maier, Vice President and Academic Dean; Jeffrey Cohen, President-Designate; and Keith Andrews, Interim President, in institutional representation, as well as Karina Pe\u00f1a, Head of Student Residences, and Zelenia Eguigure, Associate Dean of Students.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
