During March 18 and 19, the pilot of this project aimed at young people interested in science<\/p>

The pilot project, organized by the Social Responsibility Management and the Zamorano Rector's Office, aims to awaken interest in science in girls and boys between the ages of 12 and 15, in order to apply this knowledge in the future in agriculture and sustainable, resilient and inclusive agri-food systems. The participating students are studying at the Porfirio Lobo Sosa Governmental Institution, in the 7th, 8th and 9th grades, respectively. Each student had the authorization of their parents and\/or representatives to participate in this pilot.<\/p>

During this tour, students and teachers from the governmental institution visited our biology, tissue culture, post-harvest and entomology laboratories to learn about the different processes that Zamorano carries out to promote sustainable, resilient and inclusive agri-food systems, based on its teaching methodology: Learning by Doing.<\/p>

This project will be socialized with the Municipalidad de San Antonio de Oriente, the Departmental Directorate of Education and the Ministry of Education of Honduras.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
