Danl\u00ed, Honduras \u2013 As part of their integrative course, the 2024 Agribusiness Master's cohort from Zamorano University recently visited HATSA, Honduras American Tabaco S.A., in Danl\u00ed, Honduras. The group, made up of 14 students from Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Ecuador, had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the tobacco production process, from cultivation to industrial processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit provided a unique hands-on experience, allowing the students to explore the entire tobacco value chain, which is a key agricultural activity in the region. During their tour of the HATSA facilities, the students observed various stages of tobacco production and processing, learning about the methods used to ensure high-quality end products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
